Afternoon all, I'm hoping someone else will have had this before. When my car went in for the handbrake cables to be changed. I had a look under when it was lifted. I noticed oil on the 'mass block' under the engine (I forgot to ask what part it was). The mechanic had a look when I pointed it Channel: Fiat 500 ABARTH Issues and Concerns. 08-11-2012, 09:28 PM. Well gang, it appears I'm the first person to change their own oil for the 500x 2.4L. The other thread relates to the 1.4L. My Oil light came on at 7775 miles. Although it was not difficult, it's nothing like the procedure for the 1.4L.
